Enjoy sailing on board of a Deluxe Gulet along the rugged coastline that sweeps down to the crystal waters into the beautiful Bay of Kotor the continent’s southernmost fjord, where the fjords meet the Mediterranean.

That is the beautiful Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska), which penetrates for about 30 km in the inland. It is often called Europe’s most southernmost fjord. It certainly looks like one, with towering peaks surrounding a rocky coastline dotted with pretty waterside towns. Almost like in Norway, but both the water and the climate here are as we love it in the Mediterranean. The bay has been inhabited since antiquity. Its well-preserved medieval towns of Kotor, Risan, Tivat, Perast, Prčanj and Herceg Novi, along with their natural surroundings, are major tourist attractions. Natural and Culturo-Historical Region of Kotor has been a World Heritage Site since 1979.

All fascinated by the atmosphere of medieval old villages because there, step by step, you walk in history. Its history is also marked by the ancient Romans that landed at the pier built in the town of Kotor and Risan, the oldest settlement on the coast, magnificent villas enriched with beautiful mosaics and exotic gardens. There is no lack of the Baroque touch, thanks to the old Venetian fortress and the tower of the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary from the seventeenth century. In the village of Perast, you find the oldest church of Sveti Nicola (Saint Nicholas).

The exclusive luxury island Sveti Stefan is a small rocky islet with the 5-star Aman Resorts hotel built in ancient fortress connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. The resort, known commercially as Aman Sveti Stefan, includes part of the mainland, where the Villa Miločer part of the resort is located.  Aman Sveti Stefan is the Adriatic playground for the rich and famous; it still retains its sense of exclusivity and old world glamour combined with spectacular inland scenery, charming fishing villages and coastlines indented with mountains and coves.  The island has a 2 kilometres coastline in the central part of Montenegro Adriatic coastline. It is situated just 3.7 mi southeast of Budva between Pržno and Sveti Stefan villages. The pink sandy beaches of Sveti Stefan, Miločer Beach, and Queen’s Beach are part of the coastline.

Kotor is the medieval village and coastal town in Montenegro, another highlight that you visit during your Gulet holidays in Montenegro. It is located in a secluded part of the Gulf of Kotor. A small medieval village steeped in tradition and history, with remarkable scenic views surrounded by fortified walls overlooking a beautiful bay. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the old city, was built between the 12th and 14th centuries and is filled with medieval architecture and historical monuments. Gulets, sailing yachts and luxury yachts from all over the world are anchoring in the port. A traditional market with local products welcomes visitors before entering the ancient citadel. Kotor is accessed through three main doors, and the front door is the central clock tower in Romanesque style. The treasure of this ancient beauty of Montenegro now a World Heritage Site, however, is the Cathedral of Sveti Tripun (St. Tryphon), built in 1166 and inspired by Byzantine architecture. In front of the Cathedral every year the agency Fabrika, in collaboration with the national government, organizes the Kotor International Fashion Festival now in its 18th edition. Many designers showed their collections on the catwalk en plain air: Emanuel Ungaro, Diane von Furstenberg, and Jean Paul Gaultier are some of the biggest names in the fashion world who attended the event.
